Project Logic Consult developed this distinctive variant of the Robin, a modern two-bedroom urban house originally designed for Crico Development Limited and targeted at Ghana’s urban middle-income market.

The original Robin was conceived as a response to the growing demand for well-designed, contemporary homes that could provide comfort and architectural quality at a moderate and accessible cost. We deliberately incorporate passive design principles and sustainable design strategies without allowing these attributes to compromise affordability.

Building on the success of the original Robin concept, Project Logic developed this variant to provide an alternative architectural expression while retaining the underlying principles of efficient planning, affordability and environmental responsiveness. The design places particular emphasis on natural daylight, cross-ventilation, thermal comfort and efficient use of materials and space, helping to reduce dependence on mechanical cooling and artificial lighting.

Project Logic was appointed not only as the architectural consultant but also as Development Advisor and Project Manager for the scheme. Our services for this project included the investment appraisal. This integrated role enabled us to contribute to the project from both design and development perspectives, ensuring that the architectural solution remained aligned with the developer’s commercial objectives, sustainability aspirations and target market.

The project reflects Project Logic’s approach to creating market-responsive, environmentally responsible and cost-conscious housing, demonstrating that passive design and contemporary architectural quality can be achieved without placing the resulting homes beyond the reach of the intended market.
