Project Logic Consult was commissioned by Devtraco Estates to redesign the house type for thierr Dove Hill Estates, an exclusive mini-gated residential community comprising six luxury, two-storey, five-bedroom houses. At the time of our appointment, construction had progressed to gable level, presenting an opportunity to refine the original design and enhance the architectural character of the development.

The client’s brief called for a significant improvement to the internal layout and external appearance of the houses. A key design intervention involved replacing the atrium at the living area with a generously proportioned master bedroom on the first floor, making better use of the available floor space.

Particular attention was devoted to the external elevations, which were carefully redesigned to give the houses a more elegant, contemporary and visually appealing character. The revised architectural treatment sought to establish a distinctive identity for the development while maintaining consistency across all six houses.

Landscaping was also integral to the redesign, complementing the improved architecture and enhancing the overall residential environment. The considered integration of the buildings with their outdoor spaces helped create a cohesive and attractive setting befitting a luxury gated community.

The project demonstrates Project Logic Consult’s ability to respond creatively to evolving client requirements, optimise existing designs during construction and deliver architectural improvements that enhance functionality, aesthetics and overall residential appeal.
