Project Logic Consult developed The Tanager for Crico Development Limited as a contemporary housing product targeting lower-upper-income homebuyers in Accra’s urban and suburban areas.

The house was conceived as the basic residential unit for Crico Cove, a proposed secure mini residential community featuring carefully planned layouts and attractive landscaping. The development concept sought to address the demand for modern, functional homes that combine architectural appeal, efficient land utilisation and commercial viability.

The Tanager is a two-storey, four-bedroom townhouse designed to offer flexibility for different household needs. As an alternative configuration, it can be arranged as a three-bedroom house, with the fourth bedroom serving as a guest bedroom, home office, family room or housekeeper’s quarters. This adaptability allows homeowners to tailor the accommodation to their lifestyles.

The house can also be constructed as either a detached or semi-detached unit, giving the developer greater flexibility to respond to different site conditions, development densities and market opportunities.

Access is provided via a shared driveway, with two dedicated parking spaces per house. The design incorporates modest private compound space to the front and, where site conditions permit, to one or both sides, together with a rear yard. These provisions balance efficient land use with the practical outdoor spaces expected of a contemporary home.

The Tanager reflects Project Logic’s approach to market-responsive residential design, combining adaptable accommodation and development flexibility to support attractive, commercially viable communities.
