Project Logic was initially commissioned in 2007 to redesign this building, with the brief to accommodate a showroom and offices for the client on the first two floors, while converting the upper floors into apartments for expatriate staff.

Before construction commenced, however, the client’s requirements evolved. In 2009, Project Logic was commissioned to undertake a second redesign, this time converting the two upper floors into open-plan office spaces for lease and introducing a restaurant and lounge on the top floor.

As part of the revised scheme, Project Logic was also tasked with incorporating a lift and modernising the building’s existing shell to give it a contemporary appearance and commercial identity.

The project demonstrates Project Logic’s ability to adapt an existing building to changing commercial requirements, while improving its functionality, accessibility and architectural character.
